A new entrant into the peel range is a very effective Retinol Peel. Retinol has been long recognised as a strong anti-ageing agent, but it is also very effective for the treatment of acne scars and pigmentation. This can be used alone or in combination with other peels for the treatment of active acne, acne scars, melasma, photoageing and for glowing skin.
The Retinol contains Vit A and is a necessary molecule for the generation of new skin and collagen. This helps in increasing skin turnover leading to lighter skin tone, and reduction of melasma or pigmentation. The induction of collagen helps tightening of the skin and reduction of fine lines and depressed acne scars.

The indications for Yellow peel are:
After cleansing the skin, the Yellow peel cream is massaged over the treatment area till the cream disappears. The number of layers of the peel is decided based on the clinical condition being treated with more number of layers giving more exfoliation and better results. The peel is left on for 6 to 12 hours and washed off with ph balanced cleanser.
Expect dryness and peeling of the skin for the next 3 to 5 days post treatment. Use pH balanced soap free cleanser and hyaluronic acid based moisturiser with broad spectrum sunscreen. Avoid using scrubs or picking at the skin to prevent scarring. Most patients will need 3 to 6 treatments at 3 weekly intervals for optimum improvement.
